FAQ’S

Q. How far in advance should I schedule my automobile pick-up?

A. The sooner we know about your transport request, the better. We deliver vehicles all over the country and we’ll have more success in scheduling your vehicle pickup with advanced notice. If you’re moving be sure to plan enough time for your vehicle to be picked up before you go. If this isn’t possible then you will have to make arrangements with a third party, such as a relative, friend or neighbor to be present at the time of pick up.

Q. Will you pick up and deliver my vehicle door-to-door?

A. We do offer door-to-door auto transport services but only when the size of the street permits. In addition, some areas will not allow trucks onto residential roads. If door-to-door delivery is not available then we will deliver your vehicle to the most convenient and accessible location possible. Locations such as major crossing streets, or the parking lot of shopping malls or supermarkets.

Q. How long will it take to pickup and deliver my vehicle?

A. Coast-to-coast deliveries will take around 10 to 14 days. Aside from those, shorter trips will range from 3 to 10 days. Factors such as traffic, weather and truck breakdowns can affect delivery times.

Q. Can I ship personal items with my vehicle?

A. Personal items should not be shipped with vehicles. The items can become damaged or damage the vehicle and we are not responsible for any damage that may occur.

Q. What happens if I cannot be reached at delivery time?

A. We will attempt to contact you 24 hours prior to delivery so you will have enough time to make arrangements. If we cannot contact you and/or you are not available for delivery, we will keep your vehicle on the truck to deliver at a later date, or we will leave it at a local storage terminal. To avoid additional charges from either of these results, please let us know in advance if you will not be available for delivery.

Q. What if I cancel my order?

A. You may cancel your order at any time without penalty as long as your vehicle hasn’t been assigned to a truck for pick up. Any deposit which has been paid will be refunded, except for the $35 administration fee applied to check or credit card payments. If your vehicle has been assigned to a carrier you deposit is non-refundable. The deposit will be used to pay for the truck which was already sent en-route to your pick up location.

Q. Does your insurance cover my car?

A. Your car is insured for the Blue Book value for the entire duration of its shipment. On your Shipping Order and Bill of Lading you’ll be able to see a list of occurrences your vehicle will not be insured for. Before your car is loaded onto a truck a condition report will be filled out and signed by you and the truck driver. Make sure the report is accurate and that you receive a copy for your records. Upon delivery you should compare the condition of the vehicle to the report. And if you feel your vehicle was damaged during transit then you must note it on the report and notify the driver. Any claims made after the report has been signed will be invalid.
